6:00PM Nutrioso/Alpine fiber outage impacting internet and many cell towers
Breaking update: Field crews report at least 1 bullet hole discovered so far in aerial section between Eagar and Nutrioso. Crews may have to lay a temporary fiber cable along the ground between poles to get service restored by around 7:30pm.
Law enforcement was also dispatched to investigate this criminal damage to critical infrastructure that disrupted 911, landlines, internet, and cell towers in Nutrioso and Alpine for 2 days now.
8:30PM Here is the latest update
on the issue impacting your services: Splicers were having issues with prepping the old cable. They estimated 20 more minutes to
start splicing. Cell service is poor in the area and difficult to get updates.
Currently no known outages impacting any of our other service areas.
